A majority of the artifacts of the Archaic and Classical periods appear to be from religious activity at Eleon. A majority of the terracotta figurines, miniature pots, and ritual copper alloy vessels were recovered from a ramped entry way, a construction associated with the site’s massive polygonal wall.
